
JOLIET, IL — Repair work on the Osgood Street railroad viaduct is scheduled to start Monday and is expected to cause delays.
The City of Joliet advised drivers to "exercise caution and seek alternate routes when traveling in the area" of Osgood between Eastern Avenue and Chicago Street.
The Union Pacific Railroad will be conducting the repairs.

The road will remain open but drivers may "experience short periods of time where the traffic is stopped due to construction activities," according to a statement released by the city.
The work is hoped to be finished by Saturday. For more information, call the public works department at 815-724-4200.
