Route 30 Fatality In Joliet: New Lenox Man, 25, Dies In Crash

Final cause and manner will be determined following the autopsy, police and toxicological report, the coroner noted.

JOLIET — Will County Coroner Laurie H. Summers has reported the death of Angelo Lujano-Pagliuca, a 25-year-old New Lenox man who died on Sunday at 3:40 a.m. in Joliet.

Lujano lost his life on the Joliet stretch of Route 30 west of Cherry Hill Road during a motor vehicle crash. The Illinois State Police is investigating the crash. An autopsy was performed on Sunday and the final cause and manner will be determined following autopsy, police and toxicological report, Summers noted.

According to Joshua Robinson of the Illinois State Police: his agency learned about the traffic fatality at 1:59 a.m.

Illinois State Police Troop 3 units responded to the single car fatality. The 2014 Kia Sorento was traveling east on U.S. Route 30 near Cherry Hill Road and left the roadway to the right and struck a tree. Lujano-Pagliuca, the young man from New Lenox, was dead at the crash site.
