Securitas Security Services, USA is a business with a philosophy.
"We're a global company with a local attention to detail," Jeff Dalton, branch manager of the new Joliet office of Securitas said.
The company opened its new Joliet office on April 5 and had its ribbon cutting with the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce on June 18.
They previously had a local office in Joliet that closed when the economy went downhill.
"I think the economy is coming around," Dalton said.
With local clients such as Electrolux in Minooka and APL, which is located in the Joliet Intermodal facility, having a Joliet office was important.
He believes they have chosen Securitas for two reasons.
"I would say it has to be our attention to detail and our attention to the client," Dalton said.
Dalton's main focus is to help with the clients. Prior to being in security, he was a police officer in Frankfort for 20 years.
