Sex Picture Science Teacher Locked Up: Cops

JOLIET, IL — A high school science teacher wanted for allegedly posting a “sex image” of an ex-girlfriend online was locked up Monday afternoon.

Stephen Soderborg, 28, was booked into the Will County jail. Soderborg’s bond had been previously set at $20,000.

Soderborg posted a nude photo of his 28-year-old ex-girlfriend to the website ZOIG, police said. ZOIG boasts of featuring “homemade porn, sex photos & videos, real amateurs f---ing!” and encourages users to “Upload your homemade sex or just watch user submitted porn!”

Soderborg, a Mokena resident, posted the photo to the website in December 2015, but the warrant for his arrest was not obtained until Friday.

The charge on file in Will County court says Soderborg merely attempted to post the image of his ex with her “intimate parts … exposed,” but the police said he actually did put the picture online.

The police also said Soderborg told deputies he took the photo of his former girlfriend down from ZOIG soon after posting it to the website.

Soderborg teaches at Lockport Township High School’s East Campus, according to court records and police. His LinkedIn page says he is a horticulture teacher.
