Shelter In Place, Dangerous Man With Gun: Joliet Police
"This is a developing situation and further details will be provided when they become available," Joliet police said.
JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department announced on Facebook that at 11:30 a.m. officers are investigating the 500 block of Silver Falls Street for a man in the area possibly armed with a handgun.
Residents in this area are encouraged to shelter in place, Joliet police advised.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7, 300 pounds with a dreadlock-hair style wearing all dark clothing. Anyone observing this suspect should not approach and call 911 immediately.
