JOLIET — Shorewood canceled Saturday's BBQ & Brews festival because of the rain. ACE Drive-In announced on Facebook that it would not open Saturday because of the rains, but here in downtown Joliet, you cannot stop the Joliet Public Library's annual Star Wars Day. Despite the steady but light rains, the 11 a.m. parade took place along Chicago Street and several hundred people showed up to watch the event.
