JOLIET — If you were thinking of bringing your gun and your favorite brand of cigarettes to this weekend's Taste of Joliet festival, you better think twice because the Joliet Police Department and Joliet Park District are not going to allow you to enter the Memorial Stadium premises where more than 55,000 people will be this weekend.

The Joliet Park District has published a Yes and No list of items that can brought to the Taste of Joliet this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and ones that can't.

The Taste begins at 3 p.m. Friday and lasts all weekend. It's one of the Joliet Park District's best all-around music lineups ever.

The Joliet Park District also wanted people to know that diaper bags are allowed, but subject to search at the main gates.
