Threats Against Woman, High School Land Man in Jail on Hate Crime Charge: Cops
The Braidwood man threatened a black woman and said he was going to shoot up the high school, police said.

A Braidwood man was locked up on a hate crime charge Friday night.
Jason Bendele, 26, allegedly threatened to harm a black woman and to shoot up Reed-Custer High School.
Bendele was booked into the Will County jail. His bond was set at $100,000.

Bendele made his threats on social media, according to police. He explained to detectives he had been drinking, a source said.
