Thrown Out of Motel 6, Joliet Man Gets to Stay at County Jail: Cops
He really didn't want to leave the Motel 6, police said.

JOLIET, IL — Am intoxicated Joliet man refused to leave the Motel 6 by the Louis Mall, then struggled and tried to spit at the cops after he was arrested, police said.
Officers responding to a 911 hangup call made from the Motel 6 about 10 p.m. Tuesday spoke to staff there who complained of an unwanted, intoxicated guest, police said.
That guest — 23-year-old Paris Reese — stuck around even after officers repeatedly asked him to leave, police said, so they arrested him on a trespassing charge.

Reese was allegedly uncooperative when he was processed at the police station but was still set to be released on his own recognizance. Before Reese could go, police said, he became agitated, slapped an officer’s hand and tried to spit on other cops.
The police reportedly put a spit hood on Reese’s head and took him to the Will County jail.
