Truck Trailer Struck Viaduct, Forces Closure of Northbound Scott Street
The road will likely be closed 24 hours, police said.
JOLIET, IL — A truck trailer struck the viaduct crossing Scott Street north of Irving Street Tuesday morning, causing structural damage and forcing the closure of northbound Scott, police said.
The truck trailer hit the viaduct shortly after 10 a.m., police said. Northbound Scott was expected to be shut down for 24 hours.
Police were rerouting traffic Tuesday morning.
