Wanted Man Arrested On 3 Warrants: Joliet Police
Mark Maciejewski, 41, was suspected of fleeing from officers who attempted to stop him in the area of South Larkin and Interstate 80.

JOLIET — For the fourth time since September 2022, 41-year-old Theodore Street resident Mark Maciejewski has been booked into the Will County Jail.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, Maciejewski was arrested and released on a Notice to Appear on charges of obstructing a peace officer, driving while license revoked and aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude a peace officer.
However, in the end, Maciejewski wound up back inside his familiar surroundings of the Will County Jail because he had a total of three outstanding Will County arrest warrants.

At 5:52 p.m. July 5, English said an officer in the area of Black Road and Midland Avenue spotted an Infinity QX4 that was wanted from a previous aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude case from June 20. In that incident, Maciejewski was suspected of fleeing from officers who attempted to stop him in the area of South Larkin and Interstate 80.
Officers did not pursue Maciejewski at that time.

On Friday, the Infinity pulled into a driveway in the 1300 block of Mason and English said Maciejewski ran from the vehicle. Maciejewski quickly stopped running and was placed into custody without further incident, police said.
Officers determined that Maciejewski had a revoked driver’s license. English said they also
determined that he held three active Will County arrest warrants for DUI, possession of a stolen
motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
Maciejewski comes from the 1600 block of Theodore Street, his jail records reflect.
