If you were the realtor, what business would you be trying to land?

JOLIET, IL - If you drive along West Jefferson Street, you'll notice it's in pretty good shape. But, there are still scattered empty buildings, here and there.

One such building is at 1511 W. Jefferson St. It's sandwiched between the Burrito Loco and the McDonald's. Blue and white signs are plastered in the windows alerting you "SPACE AVAILABLE."

A sign in one of the windows advises that the Illinois Title Loans Is Moving! - effective Oct. 2, 2017.

So what do you think? What's practical? What kind of business could succeed at this location?

Post your comments on Facebook or on the Joliet Patch's Quickpost feature.

Perhaps your idea will be the catalyst to turn this down-on-its-luck commercial property into a successful venture, just like last year's redevelopment for the new Joliet Beef Shack.
