Will County Women's Bar Association Awards Scholarship

A Plainfield law student won the scholarship.

From the Will County Women's Bar Association:

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Women's Bar Association has awarded its scholarship Andrea M. Carlson. Along with impressive scholastic achievements, Carlson has demonstrated a commitment to the law and to serving the community.

Carlson is a second year law student at University of Illinois College of Law. She is a lifelong resident of Will County, currently residing in Plainfield. She placed fourth in the nation at the Phi Alpha Delta mock trial team in Washington, D.C. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois, Springfield. Carlson has served as an associate for the Illinois Innocence Project, an intern at the Tomczak Law Group, and extern at the City of Chicago Law Department, Federal Civil Rights Litigation Department.
