Flames Consume Wilmington's School Bus Barn
Several area fire departments responded to Wilmington to help the small city put out Tuesday night's fire.

WILMINGTON — There's a great chance that several school buses were destroyed during Tuesday night's major fire that swept through the Wilmington School District's bus barn. The fire was so intense that several area firefighters could not enter the building for an interior attack.
The fire broke out sometime around 8:25 p.m. and the Illinois State Fire Marshal's Office has been called to Wilmington to help investigate the origin of the fire along First Street.
Some people initially thought the fire was at the Super Wash, but that was not the case at all. It was the school bus barn that went up in smoke.
