• One Killed, One Injured in Head-on Crash on Route 22 East of Quentin Rd in Kildeer (arlingtoncardinal.com) — A fatal head-on crash on Route 22 near Sanctuary Club Drive in Kildeer early Saturday left a Mundelein driver dead and a Schaumburg driver with minor injuries. Kildeer police and Lake Zurich firefighters shut down the road in both directions while investigators examined why the eastbound Kia SUV crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.
