CEO Appointed to Nazareth Academy Board of Trustees

Steve Ryan will begin his term in September.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Western Springs resident Steve Ryan, who serves as the CEO of RyTech LLC, has been appointed to the Nazareth Academy Board of Trustees with a term beginning in September.

Nazareth Academy is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory high school located in La Grange Park, Illinois and is among the oldest educational institutions in Chicago's western suburbs.

"It is no surprise that Steve is an active leader in our local community," said Deborah Tracy, principal of Nazareth Academy, in a statement. "His student days at Nazareth were spent fully embracing our pillars of scholarship, service, spirit and unity. Steve's leadership in the area of service was particularly noteworthy, always spearheading community outreach activities. We are honored to welcome Steve to our Board of Trustees and look forward to his continued connection with his alma mater."

A 2004 graduate of Nazareth Academy, Steve Ryan was active during his high school years participating in various student activities. More recently, Ryan served on the school’s Alumni Association Advisory Board as its vice president. For the past year, he served on the Institutional Advancement Committee, a committee of the Board of Trustees focusing on increasing alumni engagement.

Further, RyTech, LLC currently employs three Nazareth Academy alumni within the firm.

Additionally, RyTech participated in the inaugural BOOST Summer Internship program this past summer and hosted two rising seniors for four weeks at the company’s headquarters. This unique, innovative program offers students the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real world, business practices.
