Downtown La Grange Boutique Closing

The shop was a "beautiful journey and a dream come true," the owners said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – The Whisper Me Home boutique in downtown La Grange is closing its doors after eight years, its owners announced Friday.

The store at 48 S. La Grange will be open through the La Grange sidewalk sale on Aug. 23 and Aug. 24.

The owners, Heidi and Scott Morrow, said they are semi-retiring and moving out of state. They sold their house of 30 years in Western Springs.

The couple said the shop was a "beautiful journey and a dream come true."

"We have truly sensed God calling us to a new season of life, one where we can be more available to our family and one where we can be 'ready to go' at a moment's notice, no matter the reason," they said in a Facebook post. "We hope to see you in the next few weeks so that we can say goodbye and thank you in person!"
