La Grange Area Receives Over 2 Inches Of Rain
The communities that received the most rain were Monee with 5.68 inches, Burr Ridge with 4.51 inches and Minooka with 4.42 inches.

LA GRANGE, IL — The rain over the past two days has brought the La Grange area over two inches of rain. According to the 2-day rainfall round-up from the National Weather Service, La Grange Park received 2.33 inches of rain as of 10:12 a.m. Friday.
The communities that received the most rain were Monee with 5.68 inches, Burr Ridge with 4.51 inches and Minooka with 4.42 inches.
The rain should slowly stop this afternoon, although localized flooding will continue in some areas. According to the National Weather Service, a flash flood watch is in effect until 3 p.m. Friday. There will be periods of moderate to briefly heavy rain through mid-afternoon. Since there is also so much rain, any additional rain may cause localized flash flooding.

The good news is that the rain should stay away this weekend, and Saturday and Sunday should be sunny. Temps will be in the mid-70s on Saturday, and there is a high of 82 degrees on Sunday, according to the NWS.
