La Grange Woman Accused of Hitting Boyfriend with His Car

The Villa Park man is in critical condition following the July 23 incident in Lombard, reports say.

A La Grange woman is accused of hopping in the driver's seat of her boyfriend's car and running over him on a sidewalk in Lombard, according to the Daily Herald.

Elizabeth Donatelli, 20, is charged with aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery in public place, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

Donatelli and her boyfriend, a Villa Park resident, were in his car July 23, and they were arguing about infidelity when the boyfriend pulled over in Lombard, got out of the car and tried to walk away, the Daily Herald reports, citing Assistant State's Attorney Bethany Jackson.

Donatelli got behind the wheel and hit her boyfriend with his car, the Daily Herald reports, and he is in critical condition at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Donatelli's bail is set at $200,000, according to the sheriff's office.
