ZION, IL — Zion police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they believe to be in danger. Cory Rhinehart, 28, has been missing since Friday night when he is believed to have called police around 8 p.m. and quickly hung up.

Police traced the call and went to an apartment in the 2100 block of Gabriel Avenue to investigate. There, they found human blood on the door, walls and floor, WGN-TV reports. Rhinehart's family says they know who lives in the apartment, but not well.

Police say Rhinehart's phone has been turned off and he hasn't been to the nursing home where he works as a dietary aide in three days. His family says that's very unusual.

Rhinehart is 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black scrubs, black Chuck Taylors and a black pea-coat.
