Free Chicago Bears Training Camp Tickets Gone In Less Than One Hour

LAKE FOREST, IL — Free tickets to the Chicago Bears training camp were quickly snapped up after the team made them available Tuesday morning, with scalpers soon selling them for three-figure prices.

The mobile tickets for the nine open public practices were officially sold out about 45 minutes after registration opened on the Bears website.

The tickets offer fans access to the NFL team's open practice sessions at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, along with photo and autograph opportunities after each session.

Public practices for the 2024 training camp are scheduled for July 26, 27, and 30, and Aug. 4, 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15.

The Bears relocated their training camp to Halas Hall in 2020 after spending 18 seasons at Olivet Nazarene in Bourbonnais and 17 seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Only 1,700 tickets are available for each practice in Lake Forest, which had not been much of an issue for the team, which has gone 16-35 and frustrated fans in each of its the last three seasons.

But this year's arrival of rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner and 2024 No. 1 draft pick, has driven fans' demand to check out training camp.

Tickets to a practice in July were sold one online retailer for more than $110 on Wednesday afternoon. Others, for dates in August, were offered for sale for $65. And other online ticket marketplaces indicated the event was sold out.
