Fundraiser Started to Help Daily Grind Relocate

The Lake Bluff butcher shop will lose its lease in January and wants to relocate in the area.

Those who will be sad to see the Daily Grind lose its space in January can help the Lake Bluff butcher shop relocate in the area through an online fundraiser for the store.

The Daily Grind, a family-owned business selling meat, seafood and deli items since 2007, will lose its lease at the end of January. An online fundraiser is hoping to raise $10,000 for moving expenses and equipment. So far, 21 people have donated just under $3,000.

The fundraising page explains: “All the money Rick Harness (The owner of The Daily Grind) has, is already invested into the current location. We need your help for moving expenses along with replacing equipment that can’t be moved to the new location.”
