Welcome to The Episcopal Preschool -- a place known for its nurturing environment and broad, enriching curriculum. We have been serving the Lake Forest community for over 50 years and, today, are one of the most well-regarded early learning programs in the area. We offer a strong curriculum, a safe, nurturing environment and extended day enrichment programs to enhance early learning. Our mission is to develop each child to his or her fullest potential, spiritually, intellectually, and socially, so that each may grow in grace, enjoy freedom through knowledge, and lead a healthy, productive and meaningful life. EPS operates under the direction of Melanie Upfold and is overseen by the Preschool Board of Directors. It is licensed by the state of Illinois and is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. EPS operates as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.

The Lake Forest Preservation Foundation will hold a Home and Garden Tour on Sunday, September 30 from 1-3 p.m., followed by a reception from 3-4 p.m. The tour will include three Lake Road homes designed by well-known architects such as Howard Van Doren Shaw, and gardens originally designed by notables such as OC Simonds and Warren Manning.  Advanced tickets to the event can be purchased for $85 each online at <a href="http://www.lfpf.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.lfpf.org,</a> by mail to Lake Forest Preservation Foundation, 400 East Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 or in-person at the Gorton Community Center on Sept. 30 from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event for $100. Call (847) 234-1230 with any questions.  Funds raised through this event will go toward education, advocacy and preservation of local landmarks, such as the East Lake Forest Train Station.
