Jeanne Bernardin 78 of Lake Forest, IL passed away on September 9, 2023, with her daughter Donna Bailey by her side. Jeanne was born on January 24, 1945, in Waukegan, IL. She is the daughter of the late Eugene and Sophie Hooker and the eldest of three sisters, a graduate of Holy Child High School, and Victory Memorial Practical Nursing program. Jeanne loved looking for deals, driving around town and spending time with her friends and family. Jeanne lived a happy peaceful life in Lake Forest.
Survivors include her daughter Donna Bailey, son in law Jim Bailey (WI), grandson Justin Ferguson (TN). Sister Jackie Pitts (CA), niece Lisa Pitts (CA), nephew Zack Pitts (WI).
A visitation will be held 11:00am until 1:00pm on Friday, September 15th at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Avenue, Lake Forest. Entombment will be following the visitation at 1:45 pm on Friday, September 15th at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 W Buckley Road, Libertyville.
