Just One Day Left To Help Lake Forest PD Win K9 Grant
Your votes in the 2021 Aftermath K9 Grant can help the Lake Forest Police Department win a $25,000 grant to benefit its canine unit.
LAKE FOREST, IL — The Lake Forest Police Department is asking the public to help them win a nationwide grant to fund their K9 unit — but time is running out. The deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 26.
The police department's canine team, Officer Mike Hughes and K9 Chase, has been nominated for the 2021 Aftermath K9 Grant, making them eligible for up to $25,000 in grant funding.
Helping to get the department across the finish line is simple. All you have to do is vote for them at this link. Votes can be made by legal residents of the United States who are 6 years of age or older with a valid email address or social media account at time of entry.

The grant is awarded to law enforcement agencies and first responders in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
