Lake Bluff Heinen's to Open Oct. 29
It joins stores in Barrington, Glenview and Bannockburn to become the fourth Illinois store in the Ohio-based grocery chain.

The following is from Heinen’s Grocery Store:
Heinen’s Grocery Store, the third generation, family-owned Cleveland-based grocery chain, continues to expand in Chicago, this time in the suburb of Lake Bluff. The grocer, that’s been serving Northeast Ohio for the past 85 years, opened its first three stores in the Chicago area in the Village of Barrington, Glenview and Bannockburn. The new Lake Bluff location will open on Wednesday, October 29 at 10 a.m. with an official ribbon cutting ceremony with Tom and Jeff Heinen, Village officials and key business leaders from the community.
“Chicago has really become a second home for us and each community has been beyond welcoming and accommodating. Our latest grocery store in Lake Bluff celebrates everything we stand for as a local, family-centric business,” explains Jeff Heinen, part of the third-generation family that now oversees the chain with brother, Tom. “We pride ourselves on putting our customers first and doing whatever we can, big or small, to make sure they leave our stores feeling better than when they arrived.”
