Anne Marie (nee Cain) Shuttleworth
(1920 – 2014)
Anne Marie joined her husband in the afterlife on August 17th, 2014 after a long and wonderful life. She married her sweetheart in 1945, and later moved from the East Coast to the Midwest where they raised three boys in Lake Bluff, and resided there for over fifty years. Anne was a volunteer over the years with school, community and church groups. Anne and her soul mate Ed traveled the world, but always looked forward to returning to family, friends and their own beautiful garden.
Anne was preceded by husband, Edwin Irving Shuttleworth, Jr. and parents Alexander Hamilton and Anna Clara (nee Schwartz) Cain. She is survived by sons Peter (Sherry) Shuttleworth, Mark Shuttleworth and John (Nancy Schlosberg) Shuttleworth; grandchildren Shannon (Ivelina) Renk, Nicholas (Heather) Shuttleworth and Alexis Renk; great grandchildren Nathan and Hailey. She will be missed by her friends and loving family.
