Lake Forest 4th Of July Festival, Fireworks Coming To Deer Path Middle School
Live bands will play hits from the 80's and 90's ahead of a July 4 fireworks display set to patriotic music.

LAKE FOREST, IL — The 16th annual Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks takes place Tuesday on the east grounds of Deer Path Middle School.
The family-friendly event will feature inflatables, rides and carnival games for kids, as well as food, drink and live music, organizers said.
Opening band Fletcher Rockwell will perform classic American rock and roll ahead of headliner Run Forrest Run, described as the ultimate 90's party band.

Following the show, a playlist of patriotic music will accompany "the greatest fireworks display on the North Shore," according to organizers.
The festival begins at 5 p.m. at 400 Hastings Road on the east ground of the middle school. Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9 p.m.

For the first time, the Lake Forest 4th of July festival will include a raffle for a guitar signed by a famous musician.
Raffle tickets will be available starting on July 4 until the Lake Forest Music Festival on Aug. 19.
One winner, announced Aug. 20, will be able to choose between a signed guitar with case from Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Buffet or Keith Urban.
The Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks is produced by the nonprofit Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation, with all profits from the event earmarked to support parks department programming.
Tickets to the festival and fireworks are available online and at the gate. Residents of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff can purchase $30 tickets, tickets are $35 for non-residents and kids aged 4 and under attend for free. VIP and parking passes are also available for purchase.
