James Donald “Don” McCaffrey, 97, of Lincolnshire and formerly Lake Forest, died Sept. 19, 2014.

Long-time employee of the Highland Park Post Office and Shields Township Assessors Office.

Husband of the late Mary Veronica McCaffrey nee Harding; father of the late Susan Drasler, Mary Clair Kavoosi, Jane Stormont, Adele Reedy, Patricia Schroeder and Shaun Leviton; grandfather of Michelle Kavoosi, Hope Kavoosi Chatterjee, Andrea Kavoosi, David Stormont, Stephanie Stormont, Tom Reedy, Shannon Oiterong, Carolan Schroeder, Jonathon Schroeder, Eric Leviton, Alyssa Leviton and Colleen Drasler Engel; great-grandfather of Ava and Joe Prezant, Brenna and Jack Engel, Danny and Madison Reedy and Ella and Miles Chatterjee; brother of Janet Williams and Gerald McCaffrey; son of the late John G. and Isabelle McCaffrey.
