Lake Forest Obituary: William "Bill" Redding, 84

He was a life-long resident of the North Shore and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

William M. “Bill” Redding, 84, of Lake Forest, died peacefully on August 13, 2014.

Mr. Redding was a former manager of public affairs with UNOCAL Corporation (Pure Oil Company); a member of the Air Force during the Korean War; a life-long resident of the North Shore, and enjoyed spending time with his family in Lake Forest and at the lake home in Northern Wisconsin. He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest and United Church of Christ in Kempster, WI.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Judith; proud father of Diane of Short Hills, N.J., Jennifer (Tom) of Longboat Key, FL, and Mike (Jen) of Lake Bluff. Adored grandfather of Alexandra, Samantha, and Annie; and Will, Riley, and Elsie.
