Passenger Ejected From Car In Rollover Crash In Lake Forest: Report

A single vehicle rollover crash hospitalized at least three people and shut down northbound Route 41 early Tuesday morning in Lake Forest.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Three people were hospitalized following a serious crash that shut down a stretch of Route 41 in Lake Forest early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

The Lake Forest Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 2 a.m. on Route 41 between Gage Lane and Deerpath Road, where a single vehicle had rolled over in the northbound lanes.

Lake Forest fire officials told NBC Chicago that passengers in the vehicle involved in the crash were trapped inside and at least one person was ejected from the car. Three people were hospitalized in unknown conditions as a result of the crash.

Police shut down the northbound lanes of Route 41 at Route 60 just after 5 a.m. to investigate. Travelers were advised to use Waukegan Road or Interstate 94 as alternative routes.
