People going to the from 7 a.m. to noon Friday will be treated to the annual corn roast, according to Manager Gridley Swanton.
“It’s a free event,” Swanton said. “All the corn vendors provide it and Didier Farms has a corn roaster. We want people to come.”
There was plenty of corn Friday provided by Didier Farms and other produce vendors as well as fresh cut flowers, baked goods, a knife sharpener, fresh made crepes, a fresh White Fish vendor from Door County and many other food and food related items.

The market is open from 7 a.m. until noon every Friday through Oct. 5.
