Lake Forest, IL – October 21, 2025 – Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115, together with the LFHS Boosters, are thrilled to welcome families back to Varsity Field Flicks for a free showing of Hotel Transylvania on the digital scoreboard at Lake Forest High School’s Varsity Field on West Campus.
“It’s a perfect kickoff to Halloween week and another great opportunity to share our district facilities with our community,” said Dr. Matthew Montgomery, Superintendent of Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115. “We loved seeing our community come together for Wicked this summer, and we can’t wait to do it again this weekend.”

What: Varsity Field Flicks: Hotel Transylvania
When: Saturday, October 25
Gates Open: 5:00 pm | Showtime: 6:00 pm (movie is 91 minutes in length)
Where: LFHS Varsity Field, 300 S. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest
Admission: Free

Families are encouraged to come early, bring lawn chairs or blankets, and grab a cozy spot on the field. Throughout the evening, guests can purchase meals from local food trucks and enjoy movie-favorite snacks, candy, and beverages from the LFHS Boosters concessions. Costumes are welcome, but please leave masks and props at home for everyone’s safety!

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the following are prohibited at Varsity Field:
- Pets or other animals (except certified service animals)
- Open flames (including grills, fire pits, or candles)
- Tent stakes or any items with spikes
- Vehicles of any kind on the field, including e-bikes, bicycles, scooters, or skateboards
- Chewing gum
- Alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products
- Glass containers
- Drones or other aerial devices
Guests are asked to help us take care of the turf by disposing of trash and recyclables properly, keeping the field clean as fall sports season continues.
