What Should Replace Highwood's Bridie McKenna's?

Highwood’s Bridie McKenna’s Irish pub shuttered a couple weeks ago after a seven-year run on Green Bay Road. That leaves open a prominent storefront.

We asked readers on Facebook what they want to see move into that space. Here’s a sampling of their answers.

“The area still needs a great sports bar that’s open late on weekends.”

“A Cuban restaurant with fried plantains, black beans and rice, arroz con pollo, flan, etc.”
