Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart Opens Classes to Middleschoolers

Girls entering grades six through eight in the fall can register to join All-girls Shakespeare Boot Camp or Service with a Smile.

Middle school students will be able to get into the high school learning action at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart, the all-girls college prep high school in Lake Forest, which is expanding this year to include middle school students in some activities.

Girls entering grades six through eight in the fall can register to join in two of the enrichment classes, All-girls Shakesepeare Boot Camp and Service With a Smile, from June 20-July 1, according to a school news release.

Boot camp participants will explore and stage “The Tempest,” one of Shakespeare’s most enduring dramas, while Service With a Smile offers students a unique opportunity to work side-by-side, providing much-needed help to local non-profit organizations by volunteering at a different site each day.
