1. Children between the ages of five and 11 in Illinois could be eligible for COVID-19 vaccines as soon as next week, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health. The department will hold an "Ask the Doctor" Facebook Live event Nov. 3 to answer parent questions. (Patch)

2. An Illinois House repeal of a 1995 abortion law is headed to Gov. J.B. Pritzker for approval. The house voted to repeal the law requiring parental notification when a minor seeks an abortion. (Paid source: Tribune)

3. Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are speaking out about the Blackhawks 2010 sexual abuse investigation. Both say they wished they’d “done more” to help Kyle Beach, the “John Doe” who came forward this week as the player who accused a former coach of sexual assault and harassment. (ESPN)
