Here are the top stories in Lakeview today:

1. An armed robbery was reported Saturday in the 3100 block of North Sheridan. A man who made online arrangements to sell his PlayStation was held at gunpoint by the prospective buyer. Similar incidents were reported in Dunning and Old Town last week. (CWB)

2. A 37-year-old Uber driver was carjacked at gunpoint while waiting for passengers outside a Lincoln Park home early Sunday morning. The 13th carjacking of the year in the neighborhood occurred on the 2200 block of North Dayton. (CWB)

3. The Brown Line is expected to run as normal today after weekend construction caused delays and closures from Belmont to Irving Park. The CTA closed the area to construct the new Belmont Bypass, which is expected to be in service by the end of 2021. (Block Club)

4. Proceeds from today’s “Trick-or-Treat on Southport” event will benefit Friends of Lakeview, “a nonprofit that aims to support a resilient local economy and high quality of life” in the neighborhood. The family-friendly free event kicks off at 4 p.m. from Roscoe to Addison. (ABC7)

5. Lake Shore Drive was officially renamed this week to honor Chicago’s founder. Signs denoting “Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable Lake Shore Drive” were expected to be installed this weekend after a Thursday unveiling ceremony at Buckingham Fountain. (Block Club)
