Cubs Cancel Game Wednesday Night

Officials say weather's to blame for the cancellation.

The Chicago Cubs will not be playing the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday night due to poor weather, representatives with the team confirm.

A note was plastered across the iconic Wrigley marquee Wednesday afternoon, saying a make-up date has not yet been identified.

"A make-up date for tonight’s postponement has yet to be established," wrote Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) on his Facebook wall. "Fans are encouraged to retain their tickets from tonight's postponed game to use for the rescheduled contest."
