Hundreds of Lake View residents and neighbors headed to Nettlehorst Elementary at 3252 N. Broadway Sunday afternoon to attend the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce’s annual Halloween Hoopla event.

“Candy and treats were abundant, and coffee and warm fall inspired drinks were plentiful for the parents. After the event, Trick or Treat took place with the Lakeview East businesses passing out candy.”

The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce says it could not have executed the event without the local sponsors like Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Walgreens, Waffles, and many more. Along with help from students at Lake View High School, the event went off without a hitch.
