1. A 50-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in the 1200 block of Eddy Street. Four men approached him with a gun around 11:40 p.m. and stole his belongings. No arrests have been made. (CBS2)

2. Lakeview reported one of the city’s highest COVID-19 positivity rates this week. Lincoln Park, West Town, Norwood Park, Dunning and Mount Greenwood also reported case rates higher than three percent. Axios reports the numbers are still well below this time last year, when rates reached more than 14 percent. (Axios)

3. Police have identified the 16-year-old boy who was killed in a shooting Monday night in the 400 block of North Ashland Avenue. Joseph Christopher Sunpongo was in a vehicle going east on West Irving Park Road when shots were fired from a Dodge sedan. He was struck in the head and pronounced dead at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. (Paid source: Sun-Times)

4. A Lincoln Park apartment fire is now being investigated as an arson case. The fire, which led to one death and four injuries, occurred Monday on the seventh floor of a building in the 400 block of West Wrightwood Avenue. Fire officials initially said it was caused by a "pot of meat.” (ABC7)

5. Today marks the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, which started on this date in 1871. It destroyed 17,000 structures and killed an estimated 300 people. The city is remembering the tragedy with a number of exhibits, books and resources. (Paid source: Chicago Tribune)
