A 23-year-old woman working in Lake View hopes her milkshakes will bring a boy to the yard. She says man working at Reckless Records would come in every Thursday to get a milkshake, and according to her post on Craigslist, she thinks you’re “very sweet.”

“This is a poor, lame way of saying, ‘I want to ask you out!’” the lovebird wrote. “I just thought I would try this first before doing something even more embarrassing.” So if you’re the man with the milkshakes, you might have to make the first move.

“Louie’s Pub and Onward”

One karaoke-crazy 37-year-old Wicker Park woman is looking for a man named Bill who stole her heart while on stage. While hopping between karaoke bars in Wicker Park and Lincoln Square, she gave him her number, but he never called.

“I'm a big believer in ‘he's just not into you,’ but this time it doesn't feel right, and I wonder if in my over-served state I gave you the wrong number,” she wrote on Craigslist. So Bill, if you’re out there, this girl wants to turn that “epic night” into something more.

A new baby gorilla wasn’t enough to distract this man from your flowing brunette hair at the Lincoln Park Zoo. 

”You were with your family Friday afternoon… Is there any chance you scour CL from time to time?” he asked on Craigslist. So if you’re the “beautiful woman” who was wearing “several tops on,” at the ape exhibit, this zoo-man wants to know something more.

“Smiling short girl on silver Schwinn”

A 34-year-old Lincoln Square man has his eyes set on a biker he’s spotted in town multiple times, and he’s completely smitten. With her huge smile and incredible eyes, he sees a coffee date in the near future.

“Lately I’ve seen you riding your grey/silver Schwinn mixte around the neighborhood,” he wrote on Missed Connections. “…You smile at me at red lights. Next time say hi.” Are you the short girl smiling at strangers around Lincoln Square? This man want’s coffee.
