Revolución Steakhouse Brings Mexican Twist to Dining (PHOTOS)
The new Chicago steakhouse is owner Antonio Estrada's third venture on North Broadway in Lake View, and it opened Wednesday with a bang.
After a grand opening celebration on Wednesday with a couple hundred attendees, Revolución Mexican Steakhouse is now officially open for business.
Located at 3443 N. Broadway, Lakeview’s newest steakhouse is ready to put a twist on the traditional American steakhouse experience. Owner Adrian Estrada, who also owns North Broadway staples El Mariachi and Tutto Fresco, says he’s excited to share his unique style with Lake View residents.
“People get confused sometimes when they hear ‘Mexican Steakhouse,’” Estrada admitted. “It’s really the same cuts of meat, and the same hearty side dishes as an American steakhouse, but we give it a Mexican twist.”

For example, rather than a traditional peppercorn crust on a steak, Revolución would add a few Mexican spices to the mix. Combined with fresh made margaritas, cocktails and an enormous selection of wines, Estrada is hoping this will be his best restaurant yet.

While a full menu can be found on the restaurant's website – which is still under construction – an average entrée is about $16. Revolución is currently exclusive to the dinner crowd, but Estrada says it will be opening for lunch, dinner and the late-night crowd in a few weeks.
