1. A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Lakeview late Monday night. The shootout occurred between two vehicles on Irving Park Road near Ashland Avenue around 10:50 p.m. (CBS2)
2. Chicago Public Schools is expected to announce new quarantine guidelines for staff and students exposed to COVID-19. CEO Pedro Martinez said the city's Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady will assist with the plan. More than 6,300 students were in quarantine as of Sunday. (NBC5)

3. Southwest Airlines employees must be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, according to a new company mandate. Chicago travelers interviewed by FOX said they feel more comfortable with the mandate in place as the public health crisis continues. (FOX32)
4. Chicago Sugar Daddy Patisserie will open this week in Lakeview. The sweet shop, owned by partners Ryann Ibasco and James Cox, will have its grand opening Saturday at 3243 N. Broadway after spending several months as a pop-up. (Block Club Chicago)
