1. A 17-year-old boy was stabbed on a CTA platform in the Loop Wednesday. He is in serious condition after being stabbed in the leg with scissors during an early-morning argument on the Jackson Red Line platform in the 200 block of South State Street. (ABC7)

2. Enrollment is “plummeting” in Chicago Public Schools, with the district reporting 10,000 less students than last year. Lakeview resident John Fitzgerald told the Tribune his family has “no regrets” about switching to Catholic education during the pandemic. (Paid source: Tribune)
