Chicago Firefighter Dies Fighting Warehouse Fire
Firefighter/Paramedic Dan Capuano fell down elevator shaft at a South Side warehouse early Monday. A mayday alert was issued after Capuano, 42, fell when a floor gave out and down an elevator shaft into the building’s basement. A firefighter for 15 years, Capuano was the father of two sons and a daughter.
