Wrigley Field Searched After Bomb Threat
Chicago Police issue the all clear, and the Cubs playoff march continues.
The Chicago Cubs march toward a playoff berth will not be thwarted by anything, not even a bomb threat phoned into the historic Wrigley Field on Friday morning. The threat was made at about 10:15 a.m., and the park was searched by Chicago Police and K9 units. The all-clear was issued within the hour, the park was not evacuated, and the gates opened at 11:20 a.m. on schedule. Game time is 1:20 p.m.
