Wrigleyville Bars Open Early Nov. 20 for Wildcats Classic

The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that bars along Clark Street will be opening early tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 20, for the Wildcats Classic when the Northwestern Wildcats host the Purdue Boilermakers at Wrigley Field. The early opening times will welcome fans from both sides as early as 8:30 a.m. to mark the special occasion of football at Wrigley Field. More information may be found at WrigleyvilleChicago.org.

“We are looking forward to welcoming back all those coming to Wrigleyville for the Wildcats Classic,” said Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “It’s always exciting to feel the energy of the fans, especially during the post baseball season. It’s been more than ten years since Northwestern played at Wrigley and I know it’s going to be an exciting day for businesses, visitors and all those rooting for their teams.

Bars opening Saturday, Nov. 20 at 8:30 a.m. include Sluggers World Class Sports Bar on
3540 N. Clark Street, The Cubby Bear on 1059 W. Addison Street, The Sports Corner & Grill on 956 W. Addison Street, and Vines on Clark on 3554 N. Clark Street.

Bars opening Saturday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m. include Old Crow Smokehouse on 3506 N. Clark Street, Moe’s Cantina on 3518 N. Clark Street, The Irish Oak on 3511 N. Clark Street, Santa Baby Bar (Deuces) on 3505 N. Clark Street, and Merkle’s Bar & Grill on 3516 N. Clark Street.
