Lake Zurich Police: Warrant Arrest, Car Burglary, and Obstruction

Police release reports from the week of Sept. 3

Police arrested Ashley L. Valentino, 26, of 330 Springhill Drive #205, Roselle, during a traffic stop on Sept. 5, police said. Officers discovered Valentino was driving with a suspended license and had a suspended registration and cited her, reports stated. Valentino was also arrested on a warrant for failure-to-appear issued by Menard County.Β  Valentino was released after posting $300.00 cash.Β  Valentino has a court date of Oct. 3 in Petersburg on the warrant. Valentino wasΒ released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with aΒ MundeleinΒ court date of Oct. 4.

John A. Olita, 25, of 1140 Amherst Court, Lake Zurich, was arrested after officers responded to the 1100 block of Thorndale Lane to investigate a disturbance on Sept. 4, police said.Β  Olita was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer.Β  Olita was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of Oct. 8.

Someone took a purse from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of White Birch Lane on Sept. 3, police said. The loss is estimated at $630, police said.
