Police Blotter: Burglary and Disorderly Conduct

On Nov. 25, a resident reported that someone forced entry into their residence in the 200Β block of Whitney Road and removed jewelry. The estimated loss is unknown at this time. This matter isΒ pending investigation.

Daniel L McGuiness, 24, 721 Deerchase Road, Lake Zurich,Β was arrested for disorderly conduct pursuant to a traffic stop on Buesching Road atΒ Route 22, Nov. 27. McGuinessβ vehicle smelled like cannabis. McGuiness was charged withΒ improper lane usage and local ordinance disorderly conduct. McGuiness was releasedΒ on a $120 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of Jan. 4.Β

At 12:33 a.m., Nov. 28, Lazaro Sanchez, 32, 607 South Main Street Wauconda,Β was arrested for driving with no valid driverβs license pursuant to a traffic stop on RandΒ Road at Valentine Court. Sanchez was charged with driving without a driverβs licenseΒ and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Sanchez was released on a $2,000Β personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of Jan. 4.
No License and Texting While Driving
Natalia Rodriguez, 24, 660 E. Liberty Street,Β Wauconda, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Rand Road at WynstoneΒ Drive, Nov. 28. Rodriguez was charged with driving without a driverβs license and texting whileΒ driving. Rodriguez was released on a $1,500.00 personal recognizance bond with aΒ Mundelein court date of Jan. 4.Β
Traffic Arrest (DWLR)
Miguel A. Martinez, 54, who resides at 159 Pine Tree Row in Lake ZurichΒ was arrested for driving while driverβs license is revoked on Route 12 at June Terrace, Nov. 25. A randomΒ registration check indicated the registered owner possessed a revoked driverβs license. Martinez wasΒ charged with Registration Suspended for Non-Insurance and Driving While Driverβs License is Revoked.
Martinez was issued a Waukegan court date of Dec. 3 and released on a $3,000 personalΒ recognizance bond.

Traffic Arrest (DWLS)
Cordero D. Bradley, 24, who resides at 1062 Inverrary Lane in Deerfield,Β was arrested for driving while driverβs license is suspended at 200 Mohawk Trail, Nov. 25. Bradley was chargedΒ with Driving While Driverβs License is Suspended. Bradley was issued a Waukegan court date of Jan. 4Β and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.Β
On Nov. 23, Jay C. Schroeder, 25, who resides at 134 N. Wynstone Drive, North Barrington,Β was arrested for driving while driverβs license is suspended in the area of Rt 12 and Rt 22.Β Schroeder was stopped for failure to wear a safety belt. Schroeder was charged with Failure to Wear aΒ Safety Belt and Driving While Driverβs License is suspended. Schroeder was issued a Mundelein courtΒ date of Dec. 7 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.Β
Criminal Damage to Property
On Nov. 24, police received a report of a damaged a window at a business in the 200 blockΒ of Oakwood Road. The unknown subject(s) threw cement pieces at the window causing it to shatter. The estimatedΒ damage is valued at $500. This matter is pending investigation.
