1 Dead In Crash On I-55 Near Lemont Road: State Police
The two right lanes of I-55 northbound near Lemont Road are closed for the investigation.
LEMONT, IL — One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 55 northbound near Lemont Road on Tuesday afternoon, Illinois State Police said.
The accident happened at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, and involved a truck tractor semi-trailer and a Dodge passenger vehicle, police said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
